Michael Kohler is a senior at George Washington University studying political communication. He started out at MediaFile as an international writer, then founded and hosted the podcast "Long Time, No See." Now as editor-in-chief, he is excited to help MediaFile grow its presence and coverage. He is passionate about human rights and their intersection with journalism. He is also an Eagle Scout and an avid outdoorsmen.

Laragh Cronin is a junior at George Washington University majoring in political communication and minoring in anthropology. She previously interned on Hill TV's morning news show as a production intern. She is also a host for GW-TV's show "District Debrief," and is on its executive board as the Director of Public Relations. In her free time she enjoys watching reality TV, painting, and talking all things politics (of course).

Nicholas is a sophomore at George Washington University studying journalism and data science. He is passionate about press freedom and is a climate advocate. In his free time he enjoys reading, hiking, and cooking.

Niko LaMay is a senior at George Washington University studying political science and history. Before becoming MediaFile's industry editor, he was a writer in the section. He is passionate about all things sports, music, and entertainment.

Anastasia is a senior at George Washington University majoring in political communication and minoring in English and statistics. Her passion is advocacy journalism that amplifies unheard voices and underreported topics. She also reports on metro news for The GW Hatchet and does freelance editing. It is her first year with MediaFile, and she is excited to help foster conversations that hold the evolving journalism industry accountable.

Emilie is a senior at George Washington University majoring in Journalism and minoring in Sustainability. Fluent in both English and French, she has lived abroad most of her life. She is an advocate for the environment and manages the social media platform of EleBalance, an NGO protecting elephants and farmers in Sri Lanka. Emilie is excited to dive into her passion for journalism by joining MediaFile as the copy editor.
