Scott is a senior at The George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs, studying political communication. Scott previously interned at the CBS News Washington Bureau with CBS This Morning. He also reported on sports for two years at The GW Hatchet. Before deciding to pursue a career in journalism, he previously interned in communications at The White House, FleishmanHillard, and numerous Capitol Hill offices.

Clare is a senior at The George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs, majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication, minoring in American Studies. She currently works at CBS News' Washington Bureau as an intern for CBS This Morning. She has previously interned for CNN's The Lead with Jake Tapper, The CBS Evening News in Washington, and in the investigative unit at WUSA*9. Julia is a junior at The George Washington University, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Journalism. She currently interns at CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, and is the Washington Correspondent at the news startup Conflict News. Lauren is a senior at The George Washington University studying Communication and International Affairs. With a background in media, PR, and corporate communications, her work history includes the U.S. Department of State, the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, and NPR. Currently a senior at the George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs, Brittany is majoring in political communication with a minor in Business Administration. She is working at Podesta Group as a Digital Fellow and has had previous internship positions at HubSpot, the Center for Strategic and International Study, and DC Inno. Talia is a junior at The George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs and Columbian College, double-majoring in journalism and political science. She has previously interned at Philadelphia Magazine and the U.S. House of Representatives. Currently, she serves as an editor for the George Washington Undergraduate Law Review. Kira Sommer

Kira is a junior majoring at The George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs, majoring in journalism and mass communications with minors in German language and literature and film studies. She has previously worked as a Video production intern for Planet Forward. She currently serves as the Publicity Director for GW’s theater company Forbidden Planet Productions. Kira and her co-producer were winners of Planet Forward’s 2016 Storyfest for their video, “Fighting Food Waste,” which they will present at the United Nations Headquarters Fall 2016.
